Wedi cwblhau'r modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fedru:
- 1. Translate texts from Old Irish at an advanced level.
- 2. Appreciate at an advanced level a selection of texts of the period and understand their place in the history of Irish literature.
- 3. Demonstrate mastery of the most basic elements of Old Irish language.
Disgrifiad cryno
Introduction to Old Irish for those who have not studied it before. Grammatical classes, and a chance to read some short texts and extracts from longer texts from the period, and to discuss their content and context.

A series of 20 grammatical classes + reading some Old Irish texts and discussing their themes
