On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
1. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the production process and the roles and responsibilities of those involved.
2. Develop an understanding of the development and financing structures used in the film industry.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of Sales and Distribution.
4. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the legal processes relevant to the field of study.
Producing a film is a long and complicated business and the course will study in detail the film making cycle from acquiring the original rights to the underlying material, the legal and financing process through the pre production and shoot to its completion, its delivery, both physical and legal, the sales and marketing and distribution of the film.
