Cefais fy PhD o Brifysgol Caeredin yn 2007 ac yn addysgu ar y rhaglen Astudiaethau Ffilm yno cyn dod yn Gymrawd Ymchwil Ôl-ddoethurol ar y prosiect a ariennir gan yr AHRC 'Poetry Beyond Text: Vision, Text and Cognition' ym Mhrifysgol Kent. Ymunais â'r Adran yn Aberystwyth yn 2011. Ers 2008 rwyf hefyd wedi bod yn Rhaglennydd Arbrofol Ffilm ar gyfer Gwyl Ffilm Ryngwladol Caeredin.

Rwyf wedi cyhoeddi nifer o erthyglau a phenodau llyfr ar y avant-garde Ffrangeg, estheteg ffilmiau arbrofol cyfoes, a'r berthynas rhwng ffilm a barddoniaeth, yn ogystal â chyfweliadau ag ymarferwyr. Mae fy ymchwil ar hyn o bryd yn ymwneud ag effaith newid technolegol ar ffilmiau arbrofol ac estheteg a gwleidyddiaeth darfodiad.
