Arhosodd Jo ym Mhrifysgol John Moores i gwblhau ei Doethuriaeth ar Effaith Cyfansoddiad y Corff Dynol gan ddefnyddio Amsugnometreg Pelydr-X Ynni Deuol ym Mawrth 2007. Yn ystod ei hamser yno roedd hi hefyd yn rhoi cymorth ffisiolegol i athletwyr proffesiynol lleol a chlybiau pêl-droed a rygbi ac mae wrthi yn gweithio tuag at achrediad BASES ar gyfer cymorth Gwyddor Chwaraeon mewn Ffisioleg.
