BSc Hons Botany; MSc Environmental Management

Graduated with BSc Hons Botany in 1995 from Glasgow University and worked with the IBLS at Glasgow University as a research technician in the field of molecular biology (what we call biotechnology these days). I undertook my masters at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2007 and have been teaching there in the built environment school every sonce. I have been lecturing in environmental and biological sciences for over 15 years in various institutions around the UK. I currently develop curricula and teach within the sustainability field in both FE and HE establishments.

I am a very keen, life-long musician, playing, guitar, bass and double bass in a wide variety of styles since my school days. At the age of 54 I realise I am too old to become a rock star but am just old enough to become a jazz legend.
