Ba- English Literature with History, MA History of the British Isles, PGCE in Further education. Currently Studying for a PhD with the Department of Theatre, Film and Television.

My research interests have generally revolved around the history of British popular culture. I studied my BA in English Literature and History at the university of Westminster before doing my MA in the history of the British Isles at Birkbeck. I am currently studying for my PhD at Aberystwyth University on the topic of early children’s television at the BBC. 

Prior to studying in Aberystwyth, I grew up in Yorkshire and lived for four years in London. In my spare time I do creative writing and have acted in a number of amateur theatre productions.
