Profile
Tamás has a social science background combining Sociology, Economics, and Political Science. He has taught in Hungary, Indonesia, Austria, Cambodia, and Wales - ranging from lecturing on Democracy and Civil Society for International Relations majors in East Java, to running workshops on how to write cover letters for graduate jobs in industry.
At Aberystwyth, Tamás teaches modules in the Focus on Philosophy series, exploring questions of free will and metaphors in philosophy, as well as a Game Theory module rooted in Mathematics and Economics.
Tamás is endlessly curious and takes genuine joy in discovering new things - whether it's a new country, culture, or academic field. He thrives in interdisciplinary environments and enjoys building bridges between ideas that don’t always speak the same language. When he's not teaching or writing, he’s likely to be learning something new himself - often in unexpected places.
