I graduated in botany and biochemistry before pursuing my postgraduate studies in botany, nutrition science and education later in my career. 

I am a botanist with interest in plant biochemistry and physiology. I am also a qualified nutritionist and learning designer. My current research involves the use of plant derivatives for drug delivery and therapeutics. I also have keen interest in how people learn and pedagogy in HE. I have recently developed interest in exploring AI tools and open data for plant ID and plant science.

I am currently pursuing a PGCTE at Aberystwyth University and will also begin my doctoral studies in September this year.
